Luggage check in  All luggage including carry-on luggage must be shown at check-in to airline personnel or to a handling company. Airline receives luggage for transportation and takes responsibility for its security. Luggage is then called checked in and is marked with a destination label. Receipt for the label is handed to a passenger for luggage identification at the destination airport. It is recommended to wrap or lock your luggage. All valuable items, documents, medicine, jewellery are recommended to transport in your carry-on luggage. Luggage transportation rules are set by the airlines. Transportation rules (prohibited luggage, animals) Airline – carrier has the right to refuse to transport luggage if it contains prohibited items. (The list of prohibited items is made according to the “Rules of air transportation of passengers and luggage”) Animals are accepted for transportation according to prior agreement with carrier and availability of relevant documents. In case if you luggage hasn’t been found at the luggage track line it is necessary to address lost luggage office. There are two lost luggage offices LLC “Aerohandling” (tel. 281-74-98) and LLC “Svisport Ukraine” (tel. 281-75-39) situated at the arrivals hall of terminal “B”. To find out which one of them to address you can do by reading information on monitors. In order to fill out documents concerning lost luggage you need to have your ticket, receipt for luggage label and your passport with you. Carry-on luggage
Carry-on luggage cannot exceed the limits set by airline-carrier. Except carry-on luggage it is allowed to transport a purse, an umbrella, printed publications, a camera, a camcorder, a laptop, a bag with Duty-free goods, a coat or a raincoat on board of the airplane if these items are necessary for a passenger and are not packed in checked luggage or carry-on and meet the requirements of aviation security.
